Career Command Center

Privacy Policy

Effective June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Career Command Center, operated by CrossWard Enterprises, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the service.

Information we collect

We may collect your email address, profile information, job-search preferences, opportunities, contacts, follow-ups, interviews, documents, application materials, notes, and other information you choose to enter.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve Career Command Center, authenticate your account, save your job-search records, generate requested AI features, provide backups, maintain security, and respond to support or privacy requests.

Opportunity Scout browser extension

When you intentionally use the Opportunity Scout browser extension on a job-posting page, the extension reads the page URL, page title, and visible page text needed to identify and import job details. The extension does not continuously monitor your browsing activity and does not collect page content unless you click the extension's capture button.

Captured job-posting content is transmitted securely to Career Command Center and may be sent to OpenAI to extract structured information such as the employer, role title, location, compensation, and job description. The resulting information is shown to you for review and is stored in your Career Command Center account only when you choose to save it.

Opportunity Scout does not sell captured webpage content, use it for advertising, or collect passwords, authentication cookies, payment information, or unrelated browsing history.

Artificial intelligence features

When you use AI-powered features, relevant information you submit may be sent to OpenAI to generate job analyses, daily plans, job-posting imports, or other requested content. Do not submit sensitive information that is not necessary for the requested feature. AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Vercel for hosting; OpenAI for AI-powered features; Stripe for payment processing; and PostHog for privacy-conscious product analytics. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the product is used so we can improve it — for example, which pages are visited and which features are used. We have deliberately configured analytics to be privacy-conscious: session recording is turned off, and we respect your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting. Analytics data is tied to your account so we can measure your experience, and is never sold.

Information sharing

We do not currently sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated access, private storage, and database access controls. No system can guarantee complete security.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information while your account remains active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may export your data or permanently delete your account from Settings.

Your choices

You may update your profile, export a backup, stop using AI features, or delete your account. You may also contact us regarding access, correction, or deletion requests.

Children

Career Command Center is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
