What is Career Command Center?
Career Command Center is an AI-powered job search tracker and career operating system. It gives you a Kanban pipeline board, AI-powered resume tailoring and fit scoring, a daily morning briefing, interview tracking, follow-up reminders, and a Chrome extension to capture jobs from any job board.
Is Career Command Center free?
Yes. The free plan includes the full pipeline board, documents, follow-ups, interviews, contacts, calendar, analytics, and 5 AI generations per month. Paid Standard plan ($18.99/month founding rate) unlocks unlimited AI generations for Tailor Resume, Analyze Job, and Cover Letter.
What is the difference between the free and Standard plan?
Free accounts include 5 AI generations per month shared across all AI features. Standard unlocks unlimited AI — meaning unlimited resume tailoring, job analysis, and cover letter generation — plus priority support.
How does the AI resume tailor work?
Tailor Resume rewrites your existing resume for a specific job posting using the fit analysis from Application Lab. It mirrors the employer's language naturally, leads with your relevant strengths, and inserts clearly marked placeholders like [ADD: your experience with X] where your background doesn't match a requirement. It never invents experience, credentials, or metrics. The result is a reviewable draft — never sent automatically.
What is the Opportunity Scout Chrome extension?
Opportunity Scout is a Chrome extension that captures job postings from any job board with one click. It extracts the company name, role title, location, salary, and full job description and sends it directly to your Career Command Center pipeline. Install it from the Opportunities page inside the app.
How does Career Command Center connect to Gmail and Google Calendar?
You can connect Gmail (read-only) so CCC can surface job-alert emails in your morning briefing. You can connect Google Calendar to sync interviews and follow-up deadlines with reminders. CCC never reads email content, never sends email on your behalf, and your data stays private to your account. You may see an unverified app screen from Google — that is normal for a growing app and safe to continue past.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is stored in a private, authenticated database. It is never shared with third parties, never used to train AI models, and never sold. Gmail access is read-only and scoped to job-alert signal detection only.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription and click Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel. Canceling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Standard access until then.
What is the AI generation limit?
Free accounts get 5 AI generations per month shared across all AI features (Analyze Job, Tailor Resume, Cover Letter, and others). The count resets at the start of each calendar month. Standard accounts have no limit.
How does job suppression work?
Clicking Not interested on a role hides it from your active pipeline and moves it to the Suppressed opportunities archive. You can recover any hidden role at any time. CCC also learns from your suppression history — after dismissing 3+ roles from the same source or company, it will offer to suppress that pattern automatically. Always your decision, never automatic.
